A one-time grant of US$2000 will be awarded to a student graduating from the Hippocrates Health Educator Program in West Palm Beach, Florida. Students from any of the three sessions (spring, summer or fall) may apply. The award will be made in December of each year.

The grant will be awarded to a graduate with excellent overall course performance and a business plan illustrating how he or she will best educate and support others in the living foods lifestyle.  Successful graduates may include nutritionists, counselors, nurses, trainers, authors, lecturers, teachers, chefs, organic farmers, health entrepreneurs, those entering a career or wishing to re-define a current career in alternative health education.

Requirements:

  1. An essay outlining how you have implemented the living foods lifestyle in your own life and a business plan outlining how you will achieve the goal of effectively educating and supporting others in a living foods lifestyle. You may submit the same business plan required for graduation from the Health Educator Program. Please outline how the grant would be used to implement your plan.
  2. Finalists may be asked to explain or clarify parts of their submission via a telephone interview.
  3. Feedback regarding your commitment, passion, participation and courtesy will be provided by the Hippocrates Health Educator instructors and administrators.

*Submission deadlines: Applicants must email their proposals within one week of graduation to mdriel@rogers.com. Please ensure receipt of your proposal. Late submissions will not be considered.

Each winner of the grant must be prepared to provide a photograph of themselves and allow a brief biography to be posted on this website.

Grants will be awarded at the discretion of the administrator. An award may not be made if there are no qualified applicants.
